So what's up guys? Really sorry that It's been a while since I wrote my last post on 2 July 2011, but any way you know how much I really miss to write on this blog.
I haven't told you that my journey continued to a stage where I've passed my primary, secondary, and senior high school life. No doubt guys, becoming a college student is a total different than what you expected in your school life.
You guys might have read my preceding post about what I wanted to become in my next stage after completing my school. 12 years school???!! I really need someone backing me up to make a confrontation to our ministry of education, I think completing school stages for 12 years is too much waste *go to hell.
Any way don't mind about that, just making us sick thinking about the law of this country, latent condition, unexplainable to be understood.
So guys, I've been dreaming about being a PETROLEUM ENGINEER.
20 April 2013 I'm officially graduated and passed my senior high school where the farewell party was held in the ballroom of the Pacific Palace Hotel located in Batam City.
It was somehow the day that every one of us, participating in God's plan to choose our future after school. We all know that it's not the end of our journey, we all know that God has stories that should be completed and we are the actors and actresses who will have our own role in completing the story. So, chill up!
You know, to become a petroleum engineer I need to pass a long, steep, and narrow bridge , and the bridge is the university that I should enter and finished my study for at least 4 years before I can become a real petroleum engineer, and... to enter a university I need to pass the selection test. Yes, that's what I mean by a real steep and narrow bridge.
So, I've been dreaming to enter the best technical Institute in Indonesia. Not "one of the best" , but for me it's the best in Indonesia. Although it's not the best like MIT or Harvard, but Indonesia should be proud of INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG.
Institut Teknologi Bandung |
Located in the west java province in a city called Bandung, ITB consist of chosen students from every variety region in Indonesia, Sabang to Merauke.
ITB has 12 faculties where each faculties consist of several majoring programs offered for the student, and one of the faculty that I'm dreaming about, FTTM ( Fakultas Teknik Pertambangan dan Perminyakan ).
There are 4 majoring program in this faculty; Petroleum engineering, mining engineering, geophysics, and metallurgical engineering.
So to be admitted by ITB as one of their student, there are two type of selection phase that we should choose:
1. first is SNMPTN ( seleksi nasional masuk perguruan tinggi negeri ) where in this selection phase, ITB will select carefully every candidate by their 3 years high school report grades, their achievement, and their national exam grades. So, in other words we don't do the written test but we just submit all the required documents ( report card, certificates of achievement, etc ) and we'll just wait until the time to announce who passed the selection and therefore be their freshman student. ( announcement : May 27 2013 ).
2. For they who didn't pass on SNMPTN, God will always give another chance don't worry. There will be a written test which is called SBMPTN ( seleksi bersama masuk perguruan tinggi negeri ). ( Date started : June 18 2013 ; announcement : 12 July 2013 ).

That's the time when I feel one step closer to grab my ambition becoming a petroleum engineer. Give thanks to Allah the almighty God of this holy universe. Alhamdulillah !
So, here I am now, grounded in one of the most well-known city of Indonesia, West Java's pride, city of blossom, Bandung.
Now I'm continuing my college activities with my new friends coming far away all over to this city, on behalf of their dream, ambition, making proud of their parents, just like me.
So this it it guys, another journey of my life. Promise you it won't take a while anymore until I write my next post wkwkwk. Au revoir !
